This page describes exactly what Solar in a Box stores on your device when you visit this website. It is deliberately short, because the site currently sets a single cookie and loads no third-party scripts.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It can be read back on later page views, which lets a site remember something between requests — for example that a visitor has already been checked by a security filter.
The same rules apply to similar technologies that read or write information on your device, such as local storage, session storage, software development kits and tracking pixels. Where this policy says "cookies", it covers those technologies too.
The cookies we use
One cookie is set on this site. It is strictly necessary: it exists to protect the site from automated abuse, not to profile you or measure your behaviour.

Cookies we don't use
At present this site sets no:
- analytics or measurement cookies;
- advertising, retargeting or conversion-tracking cookies;
- cross-site tracking or profiling cookies;
- personalisation cookies;
- social media cookies or embedded social widgets.
No third-party scripts are loaded, and the site does not currently use local storage or similar technologies for tracking. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Why we don't show a cookie banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service the visitor has asked for are exempt from the consent requirement. The only cookie on this site is a security cookie in that category, so there is nothing here that requires your consent and no banner to click through.
If we later add analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first, and we will not set those cookies until you have given it. This page will be updated at the same time.
How to control cookies
You can see, block and delete cookies through your browser settings. In most browsers this sits under Settings → Privacy and security, and you can usually clear cookies for a single site or for everything at once. Mobile browsers offer the same controls under their privacy settings.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this or any other site working properly — in our case, blocking the Cloudflare security cookie can cause additional security checks or prevent pages loading.
Changes to this policy
If what we store on your device changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Where a change is material — for example introducing analytics or marketing cookies — we will flag it clearly rather than change the page quietly.
